Beirut for Damascus
The Port of Beirut lies roughly 100 km from Damascus by road via the Al-Masnaa / Jdeidet Yabous crossing, which operates 24/7 for both civilian and commercial movement. That is materially shorter than the inland haul from Latakia or Tartous, which is why Beirut has long functioned as a de facto Syrian gateway. Beirut carries roughly 1.2 million TEU of annual container capacity.
