The UN Logistics Cluster access alerts and the Digital Logistics Capacity Assessments are the backbone for crossing, port and airport status. They are compiled from operating partners on the ground.
Sources & Method
This site makes one promise: every operational status, capacity figure, investment value and timeline links to a published source you can check yourself. Here is how that works and where it stops.

We prefer sources in this order, and say which one a figure came from:
2 · Operators and authorities
Concession terms, investment commitments and capacity targets come from the parties themselves — DP World, AD Ports Group, CMA CGM, the General Authority for Land and Sea Ports, and the Tripoli Special Economic Zone.
3 · Official statements and legal instruments
Sanctions positions cite the instruments directly: the Council of the EU, OFAC and UK statutory instruments, alongside law-firm analysis where it clarifies scope. National statistics come from SANA and relevant ministries, and are labelled as such.
4 · Specialist trade and energy press
Lloyd's List, Port Technology, Arab News, Enab Baladi, Global Energy Monitor and Karam Shaar Advisory, used where they add specificity that primary sources do not carry.
What we do not do
We do not estimate.If a capacity, cost or timeline is not published, the field says so rather than carrying a guess.
We do not present unconfirmed status as confirmed.Crossings that exist but were not listed in the latest UN access update are flagged in amber, on the map and in the data, with the gap stated explicitly.
We do not publish survey geometry.Pipeline routes are simplified polylines between known nodes for cartographic illustration only. Marker coordinates are approximate. Neither is fit for engineering, permitting or right-of-way work.
Open data
The site is rendered from four JSON files you can read, audit or reuse. Each record carries its own source list, and each dataset carries a last-reviewed date and a verification note.

Submit a correction
If a figure here is wrong or out of date, we would rather know. Send the entry, the correct information and a citable source. Corrections that come with a source are applied quickly; corrections without one are held until we can verify them independently.
